Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by airplanes - the concept of them in general (because come on, I get fluid dynamics but HOW DO THEY FLY PHYSICS YOU'RE DRUNK GO HOME) and also the use of them as public transport. I love commerical airliners, I adore airports, and flying, everything. Love it. (I don't like military aircraft simply because I loathe any form of weapon or machine built with the potential for offensive OR defensive violence.)
Anyway - today, after 26 years of being fascinated by those giant metal cans in the sky, I bought my first model. And I absolutely love it, and have every intention of buying lots, lots more of my favourite airliners.
This one is a little A320, a fairly economical short haul plane, which makes up the bulk of the Aer Lingus fleet - the quality Irish airline. (We have another airline, Ryanair, but they are to planes what I've heard Los Angeles buses are to public transport.) It's a Skymarks model, a premium brand, and look, it has little landing gears and a registration and so many details!
Isn't it pretty? Any of my followers interested in planes?

Hi all. New direction for me.
I'm probably not going to do much digital art in the future. I'm incredible proud of all I've achieved with the art I've done, and it still blows my mind that *I* drew some of the stuff in my gallery. They were a labour of love and too much free time. I drew when I was unemployed, and unable to get work due to suffering with depression and anxiety. I locked myself away, stopped looking after myself, stopped interacting with the real world, and my art, DeviantArt, and many other websites were an outlet and a refuge.
I'm writing this because I regularly revisit my gallery, and those galleries of people I was once good friends with. This place

A scan of a pencil drawing, either of a Dali painting from art class in secondary school or of Slash (musician). I don't think they're on here anymore.
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Obviously the kind I created most often, when I had a laptop that
Update: New laptop - still won't be drawing.
Hey guys.
*update*
So a guy I used to work with had a 7 year old laptop which became spare when work upgraded him for free. So he gave me his old machine, for free, pretty much for keeps. Which, obviously, I'm delighted about, because it will make college life so much easier for me. Unfortunately, I still cannot draw, because the tracking pad/mouse responsiveness is terrible on it. As most (but not all!) of you know - I draw entirely with my finger on a tracking pad. Comfortable, smooth, accurate mouse responsiveness is everything to my art. I have tried practicing and I have tried altering all the settings I can find, but I simply cannot d
Death of my Laptop
Hey all,
Just a short journal to let you all know my laptop has died a death. I'm not yet certain if it's permanent, but I have to wait about a week for a new power lead to get to me before I can tell. If it is permanent, that is going to pose all sorts of problems for me in the long run - but obviously that's not your concern.
Who this does concern, is my commissioners. I had three commissions started, and I cannot access those files now. Nor can I use my laptop for anything, let alone art. My friend is allowing me borrow her laptop tomorrow, with the intention of installing my drawing software on it so I can continue commissions over the

I don't remember much of my first plane ride as a five year old, just that I was very excited. I was MUCH more ito space travel since I was little, however. I spent countless hours on that encyclopedia of space travel my dad had. And when we went to florida, we of course visited Cape Canaveral. And I even landed a space shuttle in the simulator
