Never Saw The Sun

A scene from Star Trek Nemesis which I particularly love. As far as I'm concerned, Data is dead and gone, and no matter how perfect the integration of Data's programming and memories are into B4, he will never in essence be Data - nothing and no one ever will, which is what Data was all about. At the same time, it's the first definitive proof that there can and I like to think will be more like Data - when B4 sings this song sung by Data earlier in the movie - when Picard realises that there can be more androids with room to grow into individuals with everything that is fundamentally human in their nature. Not all is lost in Data's death, and never has the future of his potential race looked so bright.
